About Us
Rebound Sports and Orthopedic Physical Therapy has been serving the Marcellus/Skaneateles/Camillus and surrounding area since February 2005. Our expertise is in manual therapy techniques known as Vestibular Rehab, joint mobilization, and functional exercise protocols aimed at improving the quality of life and the prevention of surgery.
Our facility offers the best of two worlds by combining traditional physical therapy with athletic medicine. Rebound is known for its hands-on approach to physical therapy; manual joint and muscle strengthening and rehabilitation by therapists and therapist assistants rather than strictly machine-based therapy. The latest techniques with the most modern equipment provide the best and most successful outcome for each patient. Patients suffering from work injuries will experience a quicker return to employment, and recreationally active adults will enjoy the ability to participate in activities that enhance their quality of life.
Direct Access
In New York State patients are able to be evaluated and treated by a licensed Physical Therapist without a physician referral. This is called "Direct Access". Some insurance plans (medicare, Workman's Comp and No Fault) still require you to consult with a physician first in order to be reimbursed for services. If you are unsure if you can visit a Physical Therapy office without a physician's approval call us and we can advise you on your specific needs.
